Very comfortable right out of the box. Like the lightness of them.
They say waterproof but walking in a wet grass showed water absorption into the leather. I typically will use Beeswax or Mink Oil to waterproof all the leather boots I wear. Manufacture should say they are amenable to waterproofing with the proper sealant instead. These are the best all around work boots/field boots, etc. that I have every purchased.
