High quality, work great on my long narrow feet.

I wear a size 13 Narrow (B) shoe, and when I can find shoes that fit at a reasonable price, they usually come with sub-par insoles, requiring a replacement. These are a good solution for me. They're a bit thicker than usual, which helps to fill in shoes that might be just a little bit wide for me. They also have a small metatarsal bump, which I find adds to the comfort and is something I specifically look for in an insole. The 12-13 size doesn't quite go all the way to the end of the toe box on my size 13 shoes, but the shortfall is such a small amount (maybe 1/8") that it's not noticeable to me. Materials seem pretty high quality, and the top layer is smooth enough that I can slide my foot into the shoe without having to overpower the friction that some other insoles are plagued with.My only complaint is the cost. It still doesn't seem right to me that an insole should cost half as much as the shoe itself, but those of us who need them seem to be a captive audience at the moment. Overall, the quality is here, you just have to decide if it's worth the cost.

Very comfortable insoles

These fit great inside my size 12 shoes. They were easy to prepare. Once inside, they don't move around much, as I slipped my feet inside the shoes. That is one of my pet peeves about other insoles. These have great arch support and have been comfortable throughout the whole days that I've worn them. They seem very durable, especially compared to cheaper alternatives in brick & mortar stores. My only complaint is that these are overpriced, considering what they are.

Not cheap but worth it

Look, these are not your basic Dr. Scholls that you can buy at your local big box store. These insoles are really heavy duty and made to give you comfort and support when you need it. I was really impressed with the quality of these insoles because every one I have tried in the past has broken down quickly and I could tell that it was going to break down quickly as soon as I saw it. When I opened the box on these, I could tell that they were solid. They have good arch support, provide a nice cushion for staying on your feet, and my foot pain has virtually been eliminated. Not cheap, but much better than the cheap ones.

Super comfortable, big upgrade for my snow boots

Picked these up to replace the terrible insoles that came with my snow boots. These fit perfectly and they're a bit improvement over the original insoles. Hopefully the hold up over time because I'm very happy with them so far.

Comfortable and Supportive, but a Little Pricey

Quick SummaryThe Golden Retriever insoles deliver exceptional comfort, impressive arch support, and noticeable shock absorption, making them a great choice for those spending long hours on their feet. However, their price point feels a bit steep, especially compared to similar products on the market.Rating: 4/5Pros Excellent Arch Support: Provides noticeable relief for tired arches. Shock Absorption: Poron material cushions each step effectively. Cool and Dry Comfort: Moisture-wicking Coolmax fabric keeps feet fresh. Durable Build: Holds up well to heavy daily use. Good Fit for Most Shoes: Thick design fits snugly once original insoles are removed.Cons High Price Point: Feels overpriced for standard insoles (~$50). Lack of Trimming Guidelines: Requires trial and error for proper sizing. Thicker Design: May not fit well in shoes with limited space. The DetailsThese insoles are designed with serious foot support in mind. The high arch support and Poron material deliver on their promise of reducing foot fatigue, making them ideal for anyone who’s on their feet all day, whether in work boots or casual shoes. I especially appreciated the Coolmax fabric, which genuinely helps keep feet dry—a big plus during long days or intense activity. That said, these insoles are on the thicker side. They’re great if your current shoes have removable insoles, but they might feel cramped if your shoes lack extra space. The absence of trimming guidelines was a minor frustration; it took some careful snipping to get a perfect fit in my boots. The pricing is the main sticking point. While the quality is undeniable, $50 feels like a premium for insoles without customizable features like pronation or supination adjustments. At a more competitive price, these would be a no-brainer.Final VerdictIf comfort and support are your top priorities and you’re willing to invest, the Golden Retriever insoles are a solid choice. They’re well-made, comfortable, and durable, ticking all the boxes for heavy-duty use. However, if you’re on a budget, you might find similar benefits from more affordable options.Rating: 4/5 (5/5 if they were a bit less expensive OR added spot cushions for pro/supination assist)
