I was extremely surprised by these boots. I have wide (size 8.5), very flat feet, so it is usually a struggle to find shoes that are comfortable or even fit properly. When these arrived, they fit fantastically well. They are roomy enough to let my feet spread naturally—which is how feet are supposed to work for balance and comfort—and the plush padding makes them great for all-day wear. I walked around quite a bit in them on day one, and they performed very well. For a steel toe boot, they also aren't excessively heavy.​The build quality is legit. These are made using real full-grain leather, which is getting harder to find. You can tell immediately by the texture and smell. If you run your fingernail over it, it leaves a mark (a sign of real leather), and if you look at the open edges, they don't split into layers like cheap PU leather does. The leather is soft and flexible right out of the box.​A quick tip on maintenance: Like all real leather, if these get saturated with water, do not heat dry them or the leather will harden. Let them dry naturally and use a leather conditioner or sealant to keep them in good shape.​I really appreciate that these are offered in Wide sizes. Too many manufacturers make shoes way too narrow, which is the root cause of so much foot pain. While the $129.99 price point might seem a bit high, good quality shoes always cost a little more. I use these for garden work and they offer great protection. I’d much rather pay for this quality than buy some "big brand" polyester junk made of plastic. Highly recommended.

These Golden Retriever boots are built of high-quality leather and are tightly sewn with a COOLMAX lining for moisture wicking and a HYDROGUARD membrane for waterproofing. The boots arrived somewhat broken-in because of the softer leather and are very comfortable for all day hiking or working and the deep tread really provides an excellent safety measure for rough terrain and rocky/gravelly environments. They seem to be very durable with good ankle support and protection-and long-lasting, accounting for the higher price because of the good quality construction and I really like these boots. Great find!

I was able to find these in a size 14, and when they arrived, they fit fantastically well. They were roomy enough for my feet, and have a lot of plush padding which made them very comfortable. I wore them all day, which included walking around for a decent bit, and they performed very well. They also aren't excessively heavy for being steel toe boots; very happy with these!

My son loves these waterproof construction boots. The leather is soft, the soles are thick and have a good grip, and we like the breathable CoolMax lining that helps regulate temperature in the shoe. When you have to wear a boot all day, you definitely want one that fits comfortably with protection. This boot fits the bill! Love the fact that they are waterproof and steel-toed too. I think it's a great value for a leather boot with all its many fine qualities.

This brand of boot is my go-to. They make very high-quality boots that last through long workdays, trekking around outdoors or on the job site, and keep your feet dry. They fit true to size. They're comfortable for all-day wear, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on them. These are definitely a favorite brand for me.
